The terrain offers something for every rider, from the beginner to experienced. Beginner trails offer a smooth introduction for the novice rider, with friendly and manageable features. Our advanced terrain is steep and technical, with lots of rock, tricky corners and technical wood descents.
Enthusiasts and players of all skill levels can enjoy spectacular views, unique tee locations, and targets teetering on small ridges, booming drives, delicate touch shots, with a picture perfect signature hole from this professional level 18-hole course. The course plays mostly downhill and features Innova Discatcher Pro Targets, framed Disconcepts Launch pads, and custom tee signs.
At the top of Beech Mountain Resort is a one-of-a-kind amenity where guests are invited to take a break. Constructed in 2013, Beech Mountain Resort added a facility named 5506′, paying tribute to the elevation that gives us the title of the highest ski area in eastern America. 5506′ is a structure like no other that consists of: a 2800 ft.² deck with Adirondack chairs and picnic tables; a glass roundhouse complete with bar, bar stools, and tables, a snack bar as well as restrooms.

Our unique brewery is nestled in the village of Beech Mountain Resort which offers skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, ice skating, mountain biking, disc golf & many other activities throughout the seasons. A bi-level facility with a large fireplace and hardwood flooring throughout, Beech Mountain Brewing Co. is accessible for all visitors.

The Emerald Outback is comprised of double track, single track, grassy areas and dirt/gravel roads, ranging from 4,700 to 5,400 feet in elevation, which makes the Outback one of the highest mountain biking trail systems on the East Coast.
Trout anglers have multiple options on Beech Mountain. Two streams – Buckeye Creek and Pond Creek – are part of the High Country Mountain Heritage Trout Water Trail. The trail features those two Beech Mountain streams, along with a nice stretch of the North Toe River in nearby Newland.
