The location is perfect - just outside the city limits but far enough away that there is privacy, quiet, and mountain peace. With just a few other log cabins on this road, you do not feel isolated but never feel that your privacy is compromised in any way. If you want to go to the ski slopes, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, even Grandfather Mountain, they are all no more than 20 minutes from this cabin; ASU and historic downtown Boone are less than five.

Willow Valley View is a beautiful home with all the extras you have come to expect from our cabins. Hardwood floors, stone-faced gas fireplace and 30-foot cathedral ceilings all add to the feeling of spaciousness and grace. The open living room and kitchen are over 500 square feet of elegance with windows across one whole side of the room. There is comfortable leather furniture, and the adjoining kitchen features marble countertops, stainless steel appliances and a fully-stocked cooking area.

Step out onto the covered porch and gaze at the view or rock away your cares in one of the hand-made rockers that span this outdoor retreat. Head down to the end of the deck to find the large six-person hot tub that looks out onto a long-range view of distant mountains from this beautiful wooded retreat. It is just 1/2 mile from the Willow Creek Golf Course, a popular and challenging public course, and only 5 miles from Boone or Valle Crucis.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed with luxury pillow-top mattress perfect for lounging in bed and enjoying the view. This room even has its own entrance from the deck. The overly large bath has both tub and separate shower lined with Italian tiles and matching floor. Mountain opulence at its best!

The upper level has two bedrooms with adjoining bath. The second master bedroom is a suite complete with comfortable queen bed, sitting area with television and Gamecube, and another wonderful view in a warm and rich environment. The second upstairs bedroom is for the additional guests with 2 twin beds with pillow top mattresses and trundles that will sleep four. This comfortable room is also richly decorated with wonderful furnishings and television. The adjoining bath also has the bear and moose accessories that keep you in the Blue Ridge spirit.

The downstairs suite has a queen bed, private spacious bath, view and all amenities. Want to go out for a small morning stroll? Use your own private entrance to go out and greet the morning. There is also an additional kitchen with microwave and refrigerator for those early risers that want their morning privacy. The adjoining playroom, with flat-screen television, pool table, and sitting room is a great area for family fun, relaxation and interaction.

This large luxury cabin sleeps twelve comfortably. This house is decorated with the highest quality furnishings with all extras in luxury and amenities, and a private yet ultra-convenient location.

Handicap accessible with limitations.

Willow Valley View has paved access for all but the last half-mile – 4WD is necessary in winter.

For larger groups, consider renting this cabin with nearby Honeysuckle Trail, Cozy Bear Cabin, Diamond Creek Lodge or Silver Oak Lodge.

Please remember 4WD or chains are always recommended when visiting the mountains in winter.
